VOWWS are an Australian music and multi-disciplinary duo, based in Los Angeles.

They have been described as 'Death-Pop’ - existential angst and longing, feeding on a diet of popular culture, cinema and advertising, nostalgia for something that never happened.

They exist at an intersection of hidden emotions - melancholic but not sad, reflective but not hopeful, and fun without being the slightest bit aware of it - VOWWS holds a fun house mirror up to a fractured world and shows us what beauty remains in the cracks.

As a duo they have released 2 full-length albums and multiple singles, touring extensively. 2024 saw them expand their live presence to more fully reflect their recorded material, most recently playing as a 4-piece at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, for the inaugural ‘Concert at the Polo Field’ where they featured alongside System of a Down, Deftones, The Mars Volta and Viagra Boys. Their singular artistic vision has won them an unusual amount of support from fellow artists and musicians, a reflection of their refreshing approach in a time where the pressure for the commodification of art for content and shortened attention spans has never been greater.

This approach has also seen them become involved in the highest echelons of the fashion world, with compositions, collaborations and performances for Comme Des Garçons, Alyx, Givenchy, and Byredo.

In 2024 VOWWS completed their 3rd full length album, which was co-produced by Billy Howerdel (A Perfect Circle) and features guest appearances from Josh Freese (Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle, NIN, Devo) and James ‘Munky’ Shaffer (KORN). It is due for release in 2025.
